Paper Resources, Toys, and Art from Around the Web…

There have been so many great paper related posts around the web recently, featuring everything from book binding information to paper money art, with much to be found in between:

  • A most excellent list of book binding resources and D.I.Y. book binding tips at freshly{blended}. A must see for anyone who is interested in book binding.
  • Paper Forest featured a link to a fascinating article called “Paper Robots and the Future of Advertising”, which features Butterfly Stroke, a Japanese company that incorporates paper toys into their advertising campaigns. Hopefully, this is a trend that will catch on here in the US!
  • Make your own samurai rabbit paper toy through the link at Make. He’s fierce, yo!
  • Rag & Bone just finished up an awesome series on Paper Money. Much inspiration and eye candy to be found there!
  • Pretty, pretty gift tags from Every Jot and Tittle (love that name!) featured at Something Old, Something New.
  • Bloesem featured the modern, innovative notebook organization system called Start Here. You can link the notebooks together to make one super notebook of organization. Very cool!

Just Organize Your Stuff (JOYS)

Welcome to 2007! I try not to set too many New Year’s resolutions for myself, but something that I usually have on my mind around this time of the year is organization. I’ve gotten better at being organized over the past few years, but I’m still lacking a cohesive system to organize all of the different aspects of my daily life.

However, I think I’ve found the answer to all of my organizationally-challenged prayers in Just Organize Your Stuff (JOYS). This is the most stylish and comprehensive organizational system that I think I’ve ever seen. JOYS offers both notebook and filing organization systems, and the beautiful graphic design and rainbow color scheme — what can I say? I grew up in the ’80s, so I’m a sucker for rainbows — are motivational in and of themselves.

Also, check out the JOYS website for articles on organizing your life. They’re very motivational!
