National Stationery Show 2010 : Greeting Cards Galore, Part 2

Old Tom Foolery combined a great display, clever design, and their trademark humor in their lineup. Their new Typestache poster is a must have for typophiles, graphic designers, and mustache enthusiasts!

The Full Courtney Press made their debut at the stationery show this year, and I’m really digging the simplicity and clever use of type in their designs:

Loving all of the color in these vintage-inspired letterpress cards by Elum:

There was such great energy at the Byrd & Bleecker booth. It was like a fashion show in there! I felt the urge to “work it”, but instead I took photos of their fabulous cards.

9spotmonk has a great concept (and awesome neon colors) in their line of letterpress pop out art cards. It’s a card and a little piece of art, all rolled into one!

The Pie Bird Press booth was filled to the brim with their oh so colorful cards. I can’t get enough of their layered illustration style — hello, chocolate bunny!

The colorful fruit silhouettes in Hazel & Violet Ink’s Alice line really caught my eye:

New Advertiser : Lettergirl

I’m so pleased to welcome Paper Crave’s newest advertiser, Lettergirl. I first swooned over Gina’s hand lettering / calligraphy work early last year and am still completely taken with her lineup of lovely lettered goodies. Lettergirl’s custom stamps feature a number of different styles of hand lettering, and I’m excited to see that she’s offering super cute, customized gift tag stamps, in addition to her lineup of custom address stamps. Barocca Monograms and Nelly Frames from Tart Workshop / Crystal Kluge

It always makes my day to hear about new fonts and goodies from Crystal Kluge of Tart Workshop. I was certainly stoked this time around when she let me know that she has not one, but two, fantastic new additions to her ever growing menagerie of beautiful fonts, which includes Nelly Script, Nelly Script Flourish, Carrotflower, and more. I think I know of two fonts that you’ll be seeing soon in the Fontly Five!

Swoon … Barocca Monograms is a real stunner, isn’t it? The flourished calligraphy letters would look exquisite on wedding invitations and personalized stationery.

And there’s a new addition to the Nelly family! Nelly Frames is the perfect compliment to all of those typographic lovelies that you’ve created with Nelly Script and Nelly Script Flourish, and the frames can stand on their own or with additional fonts, as well, for a variety of creative projects. Interlocking corners, sides, and centers combine to create a practically endless number of different looks.

Droolworthy Business Cards

I’ve had business cards on my mind lately, and there are so many fantastic concepts and designs floating around that I had to gather them up and do a roundup of some of my favorites. Bonus: I’m including a branding concept, too. Not technically a business card, but too cute not to mention. Here we go!

Jessica Hische’s Daily Drop Cap Prints

Fantastic news for those of us — myself included, of course — who have been swooning over Jessica Hische’s Daily Drop Caps for months: you can purchase full alphabet prints or prints of individual drop caps from her shop!

She’s also recently created a letterpress version of one of her alphabets, which is almost too much for my letterpress-loving heart to handle. This one’s definitely on my ultimate letterpress wishlist.
