My Favorite Things Digital Kit

My Favorite Things Digital Kit

I always look forward to seeing artistic collaborations, and this digital mega kit created by Yasmine Surovec of A Print a Day in collaboration with fellow designer and illustrator Samantha Hahn is just fab! The theme of the kit is My Favorite Things, and it’s so fun to see the different approaches and styles of the two designers, in addition to seeing some of their favorite things.

You can purchase My Favorite Things and other wonderful digital kits over at A Print a Day’s shop to create everything from scrapbooking elements to greeting cards.

Psst…you can also download and print a very sweet watercolor hearts notepad over at A Print a Day. Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Basic Grey Bittersweet Paper Collection

Basic Grey Bittersweet

I’m enjoying Bittersweet, one of the new paper collections from Basic Grey. The patterns feature Basic Grey’s trademark grunge and subdued shades of pink and brown. Use the papers, with such luscious names as Truffle, Ganache, and Almond Toffee, to make valentines that are a bit “rough around the edges” or for edgy scrapbooking pages. The line is available at Two Peas.

Papers (clockwise, from top left): Truffle, Meltaway, Hand Dipped, Ganache, Praline, Almond Toffee, Mousse, and Crushed Berry.

A Print A Day Holiday Papers

I just featured the oh so pretty downloadable lace brushes from A Print A Day, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention these fantastic printable holiday papers that Yasmine recently posted. I love, love, love the aged, worn look of the designs and think that they would be perfect for anything from holiday gift wrap to oh so cool scrapbooking layouts. What a generous gift to give to all of us!

I know it’s a bit early to be talking about Valentine’s Day, but I just love the new Chemistry scrapbooking collection from Cosmo Cricket. Lovely, lovely colors, and the hearts are just darling.

In addition to making the perfect background for a Valentine’s Day layout, these papers would be great for any love related project. After all, who says that hearts can only be used during the month of February? Actually, the oranges, browns, and muted pinks in several of the papers would make for great backdrops for Thanksgiving placecards.
