I’m loving these hand printed moleskine notebooks from Goshdarnknit. The cute (with a touch of edgy) illustrations are created by shop owner, Rania Hassan. Featured (from top to bottom): Knit Buddies, Ghost Writer, and Runaway. Gosdarnknit also has wonderful paintings, lunchbags, and stickers (below), too.

Earmark Invitations creates elegant wedding invitations, everyday stationery, cards and more, with an increasing emphasis on environmentally friendly options. They are dedicated to reducing their environmental footprint and continue to increase their use of recycled and non-toxic materials with the eventual goal of turning all of their product lines into fully recycled sets.
I love what Earmark has to offer, including:
Recycled journal created using Trader Joe’s bags (I love this!) and 100% recycled paper for the interior pages

Looking for the perfect holiday gift for your journal writing friends? Well, look no further than Elum’s gorgeous fabric covered offerings. I love the custom designs that grace the covers. $21.99 each.
Elum also has lovely desk sets — a complete collection of beautifully designed letterpress note cards and envelopes in a sophisticated storage box. Each set contains over 300 pieces and contains everything one will need (minus stamps and a pen) to keep up with correspondence. $150.00 per set.
Psst…you’ll want to check out their letterpress holiday cards while you’re there; however, many designs seem to already be sold out, so grab them up while you can!

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. No need to worry, though, as you can get started on your holiday shopping by checking out the independent crafters and artisans featured in the 2007 Indie Collective Holiday Gift Guide.
There are plenty of shops for all of you paper lovers, but that’s just the beginning. Other featured shop categories include accessories, apparel, artwork & crafts, babies & kids, bath & body, handbags, home accents, and jewelry.

More from la marelle en papier, this time swoon inducing notebooks by artist and illustrator, Matt Pasquarello. Pasquarello’s style makes the art historian in me absolutely giddy with glee. Having a style that is naturalistic, with a touch of surrealism, his work brings to my mind the distinctive portrait styles of the Northern Renaissance artists.

I’m flying home to the ‘burgh for my sister’s wedding this weekend and will be gone for a week or so. While I’m gone, I do have several posts scheduled, so no worries about feeding the paper cravings. However, I will not be checking my email for the next week. See you back here on June 4!
In the meantime, check out more reports from the National Stationery Show at design*sponge and also freshly{blended}.
Psst…Nicole from freshly{blended} recently launched freshlyblendedpress.com and has made her beautiful jotters and journals available for sale. A must see!

Design*Sponge has posted the first in her series of reports on the 2007 National Stationery Show, and I’m agiggle at the wonderful offerings on display. Check out the debut of the Nantaka Joy line…absolutely stunning use of metallics and blind embossing. I’m also loving the woodgrain coasters from Rock Scissor Paper, the button series (excerpt pictured above) and wood veneer cards from Night Owl Paper Goods — absolutely inspiring!
The next installment of what I’m sure will be fabulous creations will be posted on Thursday at Design*Sponge, so be on the lookout. I know, like you’re not already, right?
