Weekly Wrap #24 : Whimsy + Garland

Weekly Wrap
Whimsical Wrap

I’m so inspired by this wonderfully whimsical wrap from Tara Anderson, whose blog, The Pink Couch, is filled to the brim with so much eye candy that I’m feeling a bit giddy after going through some of her archives. Many lovely little things going on in this wrap, including a darling, mini clothespin, a darling, doily-ish gift tag, and a sewn paper garland that could be reused as a decoration. Tara also has a shop called With a Twist, which is filled with all sorts of lovely bits and bobs that you can use to put together your own whimsical gifts and crafts.

Alright, gals and guys, the stationery show is almost here, and my excitement for the show has been growing by the day. I still have much left to do before I leave for NYC on Sunday, and though I won’t be around for much of next week (I may pop in here and there if I get the the time), I’ll be scheduling some posts so you can get your paper cravings on while I’m gone. Have a great weekend, all, and see you back here late next week!

Stationery Show Sneak Peek : Let {Her} Press

My final stationery show sneak peek comes from two of the fabulous shops exhibiting under the oh so clever moniker, Let {her} Press (Booth #1555-1557). First up is Paper Stories, whose new line includes both flat printed and letterpress printed collections. The Cityscape collection is a flat printed menagerie of colorful representations of famous cityscapes from around the world, and their new letterpress collections include clever origami and playful “shadows” greeting cards. Check it out:

Stationery Show Sneak Peek : Albertine Press

Albertine Press Letterpress Library

Thanks to Shelley from Albertine Press (Booth #2142) for giving me a peek at their big new stationery show release, the Letterpress Library. An entire library filled with letterpress? This is an idea that I can certainly get behind! Each volume of the Letterpress Library houses its own set of decorative note cards, and I love the packaging, which is made to look like beautiful, letterpressed book covers, and the Albertine Press logo at the bottom of the spine is a perfect touch. Don’t they look wonderful placed all in a row? Albertine Press will be sharing a booth with Carta Inc., whose lovely cards and ribbons I’m anxiously waiting to see in person, as well. Plus, their stationery show favors are vintage stamps! Hello, vintage stamp love.

Stationery Show Sneak Peek : INK + WIT

I’m in full on squee mode over these sneak peeks from INK + WIT (Booth #2149). Lovely new letterpress greetings? Check (hee, “get wellie” — love that). New gift wrap sheets? Awesome! Super cool rubber stamps? Seriously neato. And tea towels? Squee! Not many things rival my love of paper, but I have a somewhat more than mild obsession with pretty tea towels, and I must have the fox towel for my collection. The elephant towel is pretty darn fantastic, too.

Stationery Show Sneak Peek : Two Trick Pony

Two Trick Pony

Carrie Siegel and Laurie Mee, the two talented Ponies at Two Trick Pony (Booth #1641), are at it again and have lots of new goodies making their stationery show debut this year, including new cards, gift tags, invitations, and a pretty fab 2011 screenprinted calendar — you can check that out right here. I think that the gift above, featuring one of their newest gift tag designs, is a fantastic candidate for the Weekly Wrap. Love the orange!
